Making Space Thoughts
Making Space Thoughts
Almost time for Autumn.
Wow, what a summer we've had here in Yorkshire! Sun, sun and more sun. Beautiful as it was, here at Making Space Creative we are just a tiny bit excited for cooler weather and the start of Autumn, as it means new workshops!
The Cock Inn in Oughtibridge are providing us their fabulous venue again for our first Autumn Wreath workshop on the 2nd September, get your tickets now!
We also have exciting plans for spooky season and a new venue for our Halloween themed workshops coming later in September and October!
Our first event was a success!
This month marked the first of our Stress Buster Workshops!
The Cock Inn in Oughtibridge kindly hosted our first session, a big thank you to Les and Tracy for trusting us not to make a mess of their beautiful establishment. Our attendees all thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing intro exercise before getting started with our main activity: creating individual suncatchers by upcycling CDs and beads.
We have been busy behind the scenes meeting with venues in Sheffield and surrounding areas in order to bring workshops as close as we can to you! Watch this space for news of our Autumn workshops in the venues we love and in new spaces in the city! Also look out for our new workshops coming soon including fabric autumn wreaths!
First things first. Welcome to our space!
Today marks the launch of our website and our workshops are starting next month in North Sheffield! Over the last 6 months we have worked hard to built a brilliant network of local entrepreneurs and small businesses to support us this far, but now we are ready to go it alone.
We are super excited to start supporting you through creativity very soon, tickets go on sale today for our long awaited first Suncatcher sessions. These sessions have been carefully curated to ensure a relaxing and fun experience for all, no matter what level of creativity or experience you bring. Our main aim is to support you to decompress from your day and enjoy time making something for yourself.
In future posts we will discuss the current levels of burnout across the UK working population and offer hints and tips to help you care for yourself and others suffering from stress.
